finally finished my tax planning exams like two days ago..its really damn shag to study and work at the same time..weekday just dun feel like studying after coming back from work..and weekends are burnt with sambiesta performances...like quite no life. but glad some of my friends are back like lynnette and wensi!!cant wait to go out with them..and of course celebrated my birthday in a simple but heartening manner...thanks for all the well-wishes from my dear friends either in facebook/sms/cards..:) and the wonderful surprise present from sarah!!worn the top a few times but no chance to take photos..next time okie!!

work is pretty alright..challenging..and still trying to understand all the different excel sheets...but people are nice..which i guess is the most important thing...as you can see i'm rambling here cos i'm really just very happy that my exams has ended..i just hope i do well enough to maybe get the chance to try a tax internship in dec..:P did i mentioned i like tax before?thinking of it as a potential future career path..but shall see how the results turn out first...and as usual..let the pictures tell the stories..:) hopefully more to come as i get to go out and meet friends more often after the exams!!

finally finish exams....and totally just slacking and bumming around..but its great to feel so slack!!:P
but cant really relax totally also cos still have one more module to take til june...bleagh. here's some update!! will try to update more often from now on!!anyway will be doing a 3mth internship at exxon...looking forward to that!!:)

used up my $300 vouchers at in@backstage saloon...and i have to top up another 336 in all for perming, highlighting and treatment. TOTAL MADNESS...never knew my hair could cost that much...:( but the service was quite..and my hairstylist is really very nice...:) glad that most of my frens say its nice...but i look older...thou some says i look like a lion!!!!grr....

This little excerpt is taken off from my dajie's blog, which i personally find it very meaningful..thought i would want to share it with everyone...:)

A group of graduates, well established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit, the conversation turned to complaints about stress in their work and lives. Offering his guests hot chocolate, the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an assortment of cups - porcelain, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the hot chocolate.

When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said: "Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. The cup that you're drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot chocolate. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was hot chocolate, not the cup; but you consciously went for the best cups... And then you began eyeing each other's cups.

Now consider this: Life is the hot chocolate; your job, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life. The cup you have does not define, nor change the quality of life you have. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the hot chocolate God has provided us. God makes the hot chocolate, man chooses the cups.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything that they have. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. And enjoy your hot chocolate!!
